We at JCS Hobbies are here to do two things... One, offer you a tough product at a reasonable price and two, make sure that our customers are happy. We figured that if we could fulfill the first one, the second would fall into place, and if for some reason you are reading this and are still not happy please call us directly at 203.345.9602.

We are dedicated to manufacturing top quality products all of which are produced in the United States. We figured it would be a lot easier to solve our customer problems if it didn’t take us 30 days and a couple hundred dollars in phone calls to solve ours and after all, we make products but without our customers we wouldn’t be able to do that, so we want to make sure you are happy.

JCS Hobbies started as a college project that grew into what it is today, a small manufacturing and design business focusing on manufacturing RC upgrade parts in the United States. “College Project” you ask, well the first set of Plasti-Blades were made on a rapid prototyping machine at the college I attended in the hopes that I could learn to fly a, (at the time) recently purchased Blade CP. After many dollars spent and countless toothpicks made from the balsa replacement blades, I decided to see if a rapid prototype would stand up better to the abuse I was dishing out to the heli.

To make a long story shorter, the rapid prototype worked. The local hobby shop owner saw these, since I had to show off my proud invention and said, “heck, if you made these for real I would stock them on my shelf”. Thus began the life of the Plasti-Blade…. If you couple that with my class in polymers to include injection molding you have the original Plasti-Blade from JCS Hobbies.

Over the past few years we have expanded our product into different colors and various designs for various helicopters. Most recently, we have released an upgraded landing gear strut for the T-Rex 450 that is one of the most durable gear struts on the market. We are always looking for the next best idea and are always happy to hear ideas from our customers when it comes to thing you would like to see. We hope to continue to grow and offer you new products with the same motto, “if it needs to be tougher and we can make it that way, then why the heck not?”
